The Story behind 002 (doubleotwo). From the native to Austria, LA based Founder & Designer - Simon Schwarz!

Pickleball - and its famous first serve: 002 (pronounce "double O two" or "zero zero two"). Hearing the sound of the pickle-ball hitting the paddle, is when I knew there is more to come. This sport was nowhere near my radar, nor did I know about it! 
When a friend brought  me along to a pickleball court on a casual Sat AM, the introduction was! “It’s like tennis, but at a much slower pace.”  It gave me a wonder of whether or not my friend meant, I was in good or bad shape and or.. ? However stepping onto the courts, it was hard to dismiss the energy and excitement of the players.

DOUBLE O TWO or aka Zero Zero two. The seed was planted. Immediately after my introduction, I was hitting the courts on a regular, getting to know the sport spending hours under the hot brutal bright sun. I was getting concerned about my overall well being of my skin, intake of Sun and all that comes with it.

Me not in particular coming from an outdoorsy lifestyle made me realize that I needed to protect myself, find a way to enjoy the outdoor activities, yet keep me safe from the sun's UVA+UVB rays.

Looking but not finding stylish available clothing that provides UVA+UVB protections made me decide to start a first of its kind clothing brand.

Coming from a fashion background, I knew immediately that creating a clothing line with a focus on sun-protection and fabrics which accommodates such would be A 'Perfect 10" .

Custom designs, with handpicked fabrics and sharing such outdoor enthusiasts. is the mission.

An urban-inspired sporty collection that seamlessly blends with today’s fashion trends.
